Your new career begins with an intensive 1-2 day training seminar covering all of the services and products available from My Home Connect and The National Trade Register. You'll meet other franchisees and have an opportunity to ask any questions.
You will then progress to field training. You'll start with at least 2 days during the first 4 weeks, working with consumers, prospective National Trade Register members and Home Connect contractors. Almost all of the services offered by the franchise are covered in the Training Manual, which helps to guide you through the whole process.
Online administrationOur online admin department offers templates for fast invoicing and membership applications, letterheads, and access to your members' details. A document library is available for all the forms you'll need, and you can also view and use information sheets, advertising and marketing templates.
All you'll require are a good computer, a printer and internet access.
Call NavigatorWhen you open your My Home Connect branch you will be provided with a complementary inbound call management system. More information about call navigator (pdf)
This sophisticated system can handle up to 100 calls at any time with queuing and music on hold, interactive voicemail and fax acceptance. Call Navigator features a virtual receptionist to welcome callers to your branch and direct them to the appropriate person or number.
All you'll need is a BT landline number (it doesn't matter if this is your home number) - you can have the calls diverted to any location you choose. There are no phone charges incurred with the call navigator system unless you choose to have calls diverted to your mobile, when network charges will apply.

AppointmentsRecruitment of contractors is your responsibility: we will provide you with 40 - 50 confirmed appointments in the first 4 weeks so that you can enlist new members. Our telemarketing support team will liaise with you to organise these appointments.
